Just make sure you get the right slave cylinder for your trans.
A turbo slave cylinder is different than an N/A slave cylinder.
I got the wrong one and had to wait another week for the correct one (they have different mounting holes).
Also when you're installing the slave, make sure...
VERY nice Ryan. I'm happy to see you doing less sitting and more working!! She will be purdy once it gets filled.
Now I just need to see it on a finished FFIM... (hint hint wink wink)
where did you get the other lex tb from anyway?
I'm going to vouch for Ryan's shifter for you. It makes shifts between gears a tiny "click" hand motion. I have the sogi mod in my car, and compared to the shifters Ryan makes it feels like MILES between gears. I guess the only way you are going to get assurance of what you're getting are the...
Yea, there is a car like that her in Victoria too. 92 White turbo hardtop with sunroof. Complete with white package (those lovely white wheels).
Mint interior/exterior, I would give up most anything to buy it..but I got stuck with an 88 that leaks, yahoo.
11,000 Canadian is a lil steep...
Yea Ryan still "makes" them... When he manages to get off his ass and work :icon_razz
He's about to get new coilovers (like tomorrow), so you'll have to pull him away from fondling those.
And I can testify, the shift is SHORT. Just sortof clicks between gears in his Mk2.
you gotta pop dem door panels off to take a good look.
I know mine are as flat as a prepubescent girl.
Can those felt things just be bought from the dealer or what?
What can I say, Supras = win.
At least the L shape hose behind/below the water pump didnt blow up on you at 2:30am when you had to work the next day. Now THAT was fun.
Just installed a new slave yesterday as I was talking to Ryan about it...
Its not yota but it IS brand new. I would never buy a reman'd master or slave cylindar unless i know it was rebuilt properly. But the brand I got is fine.. everything looks just the same build quality as my old Aisin...
Remember you'd have to tell it when the car is/is not in gear..or whether the clutch is slipping, because you can do whatever speed you want and still be doing 700 rpm.
If you put a switch on the clutch and maybe some sort of sensor? on the shifter with magnetic pickups in the notches..you...
dude no!? I checked out my turn signals the other day when I was cleaning up the rest of my car and everything works as it should!
Box is a useless piece.
does your center brake light work?
I'm guessing you're tail light failure relay box is pootched. It is by-passable, I'll have to do a writeup on which wires to splice..
The box is located behind the drivers side tail light attached to an 8 or 10 pin plug, pull it out and see if any of the...
yea on mine you can hear it going pssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss for afew minutes after the engine is switched off. coolant bottle was over full line by about an inch last night and it is now about 1/2 or 3/4" above the emty line. The rad however is still full, how I dont know. Gonna go...
koulee's got it, I got home last night and pulled the fan shroud off and suprise suprise, it's leaking from that top seal. However I dont think its the stock rad..looks brand new.
I'll haul it out this evening and take it into a rad shop tomorrow..
else its 290$$ for a new one.
It is/was running down some part of the fan shround (cant tell you where untill I get a wrench and take it off), pooling a small amount inside the actual shroud at the bottom, then running around and dripping off of the flat piece on the bottom.
just ran out and and checked the rad/overflow bottle levels now that the car has cooled down.
The rad is FULL and the coolant bottle is sitting on the full line.
The previous owner (I bought the car last week) had the bottle filled to the cap when it was cold, so I'm guessing thats the...
