dont cheap out on guages, my autometer ultra light boost guages' (mech) diaphram ruptured 2 weeks after getting it. So now i have a boost guage stuck at 15 in/mm
make sure to see if inside edge of the syncrows are still knife sharp. If not they will not do their job (the cut threw the oil to syncronise the brass syncrow to the gear it self). If its not sharp anymore they should be replaced!
welding flux core is a crutch. Having the gas is far nicer, i think i welder is something you dont wanna cheap out on. dont get a 110v, and for a tig your looking at about 800.
