If I understand your question correctly, some are progressive, some are not...which causes them to have a spring rate "range".
Unfortunately I do not know. They're probably stiffer than the stock springs since they're paired up with Bilsteins.

Well, that's what the inside looks like. I would assume it's high temperature fiberglass (not normal fiberglass anyways).
Tanabe/HKS Mufflers are expensive. If you wanted to cut costs a little more without sacrificing durability, you could just go Magnaflow. Check summitracing out for them. (Look for the universal mufflers) I think they're good because they have a 304SS body, SS Mesh wrapped around a 409SS...
:umno::bsflag:
You remind me of a certain N/A guy who said he had ~230 RWHP on bolt ons. Post up proof otherwise nobody will believe this. Honestly, you either ran a 1/8 mile run or 13.2 is the A/F Ratio you saw on your wideband, lol...
I think it's aluminized steel (which in essence, is "painted" steel, lol) and I'm pretty sure the mufflers are baffled and not straight through (or only the middle is baffled). In other words, I'm not a fan of them. They won't last you long, and they won't flow much better than stock. It won't...
Why does someone always have to post something like this when there is a lack of power thread...?
Anyways, 87 octane is fine for stock timing. Actually it might even be okay for more than stock timing. I remember cuel said he ran 14-16 BTDC on 87 octane with headers/exhaust.
Post up a video. Your post was confusing.
Although my N/A's powerband was everywhere, the "strongest point" of my car was around 3500+ RPMs. I never felt a "V-Tec" like kick in my car, ever, but that made me feel good. This means that ACIS is working properly :)
Potential of the 7MGE IMO:
It doesn't have much potential in stock form because it's already well made. The intake is pretty good, the exhaust manifold is pretty good, it's got ACIS, etc. All the changes you make won't make that much of a difference until you change the internals and other major...
Ok this thread is going nowhere. Pick whichever you like. Both are easy to modify, and both have their pros and cons. Look around on the forums if you're going to modify your Supra and if you're interested in going fast, then go the turbo route (swap a turbo engine or do NA-T). That's about it...
