    Pistons

From what I've heard, Nippon's are just cryo'd stock pistons

    Question (as usual) :]

I'm sure you will, but it won't last! Every supra owner eventually decides they need more boost :evil2: :evil5:

    Question (as usual) :]

You can get the LC-1 w/ bosch sensor for $200 You can use the MAFT pro as a wideband 'gauge' until you can afford another $200 for the XD-1 Keep in mind i've never used the MAFT-Pro, but have read alot as I plan to go with this setup! It'll work fine with 440 injectors if you set it up correctly

    Somebody's New Setup

Too legit to quit!! Too bad Duane is already starting to think that bad-ass turbo isn't that big next to the engine, lol planning an upgrade before the part has even been used :biglaugh:

    Jaguar_5's 87 Turbo Build

I went there today, and it looks like the framework for the driveway is in place, I guess they just have to compact the ground abit and then pour the concrete! Then i'll probably need to buy a winch and figure out where to mount it so i can lower a very heavy engine down that rediculously steep...

Doesn't seem to be all it should be

I suggest searching around on here, and doing lots more reading here and www.cygnusx1.net Check your error codes, solve them Check and solve any vacuum leaks Check your compression, if you can, do a leak down test

    front drivers caliper

http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/291410/catalog.aspx?Figure=4705&Page=1 I guess the slide pin is assembled with a bolt
  10. Jaguar_5

    front drivers caliper

There actually only 1 bolt, on the bottom of the caliper, then rotate the whole thing upwards, the top one isn't a bolt, it's a pin (pivot point) The torque plate (i think it's called) that you need to remove to get the Rotor off, has 2 bolts

    IC piping?

Did you weld those yourself? What kind of welder should I look into, arc?
  12. Jaguar_5

    IC piping?

Yeah but no point in getting a chop saw if I'll have to take it somewhere for welding! I really do want to learn to weld though... I've spent about 1/2 the amount on tools as I have on the rest of the supra since my project began!
  13. Jaguar_5

    IC piping?

With the drift motion kit, is any welding necessary? Or Do you just make a few cuts and use the couplers?

Doesn't seem to be all it should be

I'm not made of money either, but over time I've saved up and i'm nearing completion of rebuilding a 7MGTE You were the one complaining about how slow your car is!

Doesn't seem to be all it should be

They make a fantastic performance part for a GE! It's called a Turbo! If your motor is in good shape, go NA-T If not, rebuild and go NA-T, or drop in a 7MGTE
  16. Jaguar_5

    Help with a mod list..

Definitely a AFPR kit Also you'll need a good intake, and 3" (elbowless FTW!) turboback exhaust. Good IC pipes should help quite a bit, and BOV valve to keep that turbo in good shape And some kind of boost controller to make more boost! You could buy a shim kit from MDC The motor will of...

    Pre-lube Suggestions

Sounds about like what i was planning on right there. Seems like a stupid question, but maybe not: The backs of the bearings go in dry, right? I.E. No lube in between the bearing and the main/rod journals because they just need to stay in place
