Lol w/e gixxer, close enough. Its based off of the 350 design. And hatter, to my knowledge, no recent mustangs ever had a 351. Im not 100%, but I dont even think the older ones had a 351 stock, unless a cobra did or sumthin? I'm a chevy guy not a ford :)

The voltage did seem a bit low, but with a dead battery, every car I've seen will still try to crank. The reason I think its the starter gear stuck inside is because my rpms raised up to about 400 on my tach... and i felt the car vibrate.. but no turning over or anything. Makes me think...

If you want a semi cheap, hella fun AWD car Get a DSM. Parts are a dime a dozen, they arnt that hard to work on, and they come turbo and AWD if you find the right models (tsi awd, GSX, laser rs awd) You could easily find one in pretty good shape. A clean 2nd gen will run you 4-5 grand...
