1. impact gun might do it, or put a large breaker bar on the car, brace it against the ground and tap the starter to loosen it off. Then use a crank pulley puller to remove it. do NOT try and pry it with anything, you'll bend it
2. patience

innovate motorsports products can't be beat. They hold a massive amount of patents, including the only one that allows for automatic calibration. other widebands cannot be calibrated, and will become inaccurate over time.
LC-1 is the only way to go, anything else is wasting money IMO.
it's...
i'm sure the shop would do this, but I'd put a couple drops of oil in each spark plug hole before turning it over for the first time. The rings may want to stick to the cylinder wal for sitting for so long, the oil may ease the process. Disable the fuel injection and crank the engine over...
if your engine is detonating you've got more serious problems than ring selection. They are also sensitive to dirty air (so I've read). if you run ITBs or no air filter at the track on your turbo car, It's a bad idea to install moly inlaid rings.
the only difference between "moly coated" and...
Toyota wires can be expensive, but NGK has had good responses in the mk2 world.
I run toyota OEM wires, I was able to get them at a discounted price so they made a little more sense. They appear to be high quality, as most toyota parts.
haha I totally understand where you are coming from and the allure of a finely tuned naturally aspirated engine. The ITB setup is the crowning jewel of your hard work. I too hope to make an ITB setup someday, it's great to see your success!
with regards to your 7m/5m combo engine..you may want...
don't change it if it isn't broken unless you plan on turbo charging it.
Retorque the headbolts to 72ft/lbs. it should get you a few more miles. I second what AJ said.
sounds good Doward, thanks.
it took a lot of looking, and I was able to find only two people that did. No specific details such as how much room was left, if the combustion chamber was changed drastically, if material was removed from the block, slack in the timing belt or any running issues...
provided Homer's roller has a decent bearing in it, and wasn't too expensive, it's a great solution to avoid buying cam gears in my opinion. it would only be required to take up the slack generated though, or you'd end up advancing the cams more than you'd like.
