dont want to hi-jack but can you tell me how i should go about bypassing it. perhaps tell me in a pm as not to take away from the original posters question. thanks in advance.
let me go ahead and oppose what everyone is saying about how much it is worth. honestly, the fact that it is rare may play a part in how much you can get for it however, as others have stated since it has motor issues will discourage most people from buying it "just because they like the paint...
the paint code for that car is 24D. the paint code for the other pic that was posted is 21C. OP, your car has a dark blue metallic pearl top with a blue bottom. 21C cars (mine for instance) are dark blue metallic pearl top and metallic light blue bottom. the difference being that the 21C bottom...
your gauge is reading that your running 13-14 @ WOT? if so, i would definitely start with recalibrating and then see what it registers. find where the controller is wired in then find the black wire. if the black wire is attached to something, other than a momentary switch, this is wrong and...
i am new to them as well. i have one, but it is not installed yet since my motor is out of the car. but i have been looking over the manual thoroughly trying to make sure i understand everything before i install it anyway. gimme a minute and let me try to find that answer for you. kamikaze, are...
this comes directly from the LC-1 manual. did i miss something?
Remove the oxygen sensor from the exhaust and expose it to free air (outside of the exhaust
pipe) for calibration purposes:
1. Connect the LC-1 to 12V from the vehicle and switch it on.
2. After the sensor has warmed up, either...
well there are a few videos on youtube that give a pretty good example of how to do it. do you have the tools to roll the fender or are you going to just use a dowel? if you have or know someone who has the right tool it should be quite easy to do. however, since they are expensive most people...
from what i understand, lc-1 can chain as well. recalibration is done on a new sensor when installing , a new sensor after 3 months and then only every 10,000 miles. recalibration is done by pushing a button
actually the trick is that the lex afm is 25% bigger than stock. 550s are 25% bigger than stock. you put both on at the same time and it will run without a "tune". you will more than likely need a new fuel pump though. the lex afm upgrade can be done on stock injectors and a tune..
yeh mine arent bad. they dont fall out but if i took the pillar out of the car, held it upside down, and shook it, they probably wouldnt stay in place. with different gauges im sure its different as no two are exactly a like, between the brands anyway.
tekdeus, you changed for the better.what wing do you have btw? also, i do think that it looks ok to have the cowl on the hood be a different color. black cowlon a red car or something i just dont think it looks good to follow it all the way down the bumper and over the roof but thats just my...
maybe get some truck nuts and 26"s to go with the stripes...
the one linked doesnt look "that" bad but it looks mustang-ish. i do not like it but...its not my car sooo its up to you
not sure if the passenger side will do it or not, but it is probably worth a try.
also, probably want to get a locksmith at some point and get that thing out of your lock lol
did you try locking the door, then unlocking it with the key, then try to start it?
i know it sounds dumb but if you have the factory alarm, and it went off, and you didnt "re-unlock" the door it cuts power. like if the alarm went off and you just put the key in the ignition to get it to turn...
i have the 3 pod and my gauges fit well. it was a bit snug but its supposed to be. i could probably get away with leaving the clamp off the back side. i'm not going to just in case but, it fit well.
