    for what its worth i have a garrett gt4082 with a 0.68 a/r turbine housing and plan to go for low-mid 500's. if i were you id get the 0.68 a/r housing. itll spool waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy faster then that huge 96 a/r.

    well since the 7mgte in my mk2 is front sump, i used a big block chevy dipstick. bent it to fit where i wanted and had to trim about an inch or so off the top of the tube for it to read right. started wit hthe stock tube and put it 1 qt over full. then adjusted the new dipstick so the full mark...

    got my radiator in finally. was supposed to be in yesterday. now i need to dig out the mk3 mounts and lower rubber grommets. its a mk3 radiator and i have the lower radiator mount that dave did a group buy for like a year or 2 ago. lol

    How much boost should i set

    ive got the same turbo, 2in i/c pipes, stock mk3 i/c, 780cc/min injectors, ms2, 3in dp and exhaust and i run 20psi. havent tried turning it up higher yet. want to get it tuned a bit better first and working on getting my ffim done so i can install my new i/c as well. and my gt4082 later.

    yes indeed :D. i need to rewrap the outer insulation on the wires though. the wires inside that are individually insulated and are fine.

    i had my greddy type s vented for years, even on the stock maf. if it is adjusted correctly and you have no vac leaks the car will not stall and you dont get big puffs of smoke when the throttle is let off either. what people forget is when you let off the gas the ecu cuts fuel momentarily.

    idk, sounds like thats a setup for blow through mode. i had my maft in pull through like stock. worked fine. i wouldnt go over 550's with it though, then the timing is too far off. i found out the hard way. if you need larger then 550's get a stand alone.

    can any one talk me out of buying a megasquirt?

    i love my megasquirt. i wouldnt start with it on the built motor though, id put it on a stock one so you can learn to tune with it so you wont mess up the fresh build. its easy to tune wrong and have detonation and go lean etc.. with any standalone.
