I also couldn't agree more. I take the roof off at every available oppotunity. It turns alot more heads that way too. Just stitch weld your frame and your wet noodle problem is essentially gone!

I`m not entirely sure I see the gains of water cooling and xbox being worth the efforts. I guess I have not personally had any issues with them yet. I have had friends who did though and we just did the wrap it in a towel trick and there still going strong today.

One thing I didn't notice mentioned here is be sure to come back, revisit and give the head a retorque after running for a short time.

I ended up using the MKIV temp sensor signal for the ECU. And one of my old MKIII 7M sensors seperately to the guage cluster.
Each has it's own temp sensor that was native to the ecu and the cluster.
