The black cases are the V2 ECU's. They also have a 2JZ style plug set which is different than the V1's. That was the case for my 6100 anyways. The universal v2 box may have the same plugs, but I've not seen one personally.

It's the supply. Should go up to the firewall to the vacuum actuator for the heater that controls the hotwater flow to the core.

Front or rear bumper? Why not attach some cover bolt point to the tube bump back in the stock locations. It takes a little extra planning measuring/work but worth it in the end.
