yeah the 87 was a na 5 speed and my 1990 is also a na 5 speed. the previous owner dropped a 7mgte in the 87 and kept the w58 tranny with it and also converted it to a 89+. but it dose have a aftermarket clutch and flywheel. now with the 90 supra i bought it from a friend and he had a 1jz in it...
true that on the 100+ weather. houston is worst then san antonio i think. got the engine swap in today and dumb ass me forgot to take pics of before and after. still have to plug in the wiring. ic and pipings, radiator and so on. but heres a couple pics of both supras but not from today...

ok i now need a new firewall harness. my old one was cut and i tryed to fix it up myself and now the light switch is the horn and the lights stay on all the time. lol oops. or i could just take the time to fix it but ill need a diagram to do this. if anyone has one its a 1990 non-turbo 5 speed...
ok new up date. found alot of rust in my 1987 supra so i have a new plan now. im going to move everything from my 1987 supra over to my 1990 supra shell. will post more pics later. damn alot of work ahead of me.
ehh as i was driving today the engine started heating up on me. previous owner told me the fan clutch is bad. so if i change the fan clutch and thermostat that should fix the problem.
oh i definitely appreciate the help. any help i can get will be awsome. and if anybody has a vacuum canister that they dont need and will give it for free that will be awsome just pm me and we can go from there.
hmm never heard of a vacuum block. but yeah i need to go thought the whole vacuum and get it all right.

oh and forgot he is running it without a distributor cap also. my god this guy loved his engine lol...
as i was looking into the engine i noticed that the vacuum lines are way off. its also missing the canister for the vacuum lines and a couple lines so she was sucking raw air in(not good). and also there are alot of wiring that dont even belong(oh boy). and also the Oxygen Sensor for the turbo...
