that the one? Is the adapter big enough to allow for the flow of the lex afm? Anyone have pics?
I was putting my intake together yesterday and noticed that the Apexi adapter is much smaller than the lex afm (inside diameter). I started to "port" the edges but realized that it will still be a restriction.
What filter do you all use with the lexus AFM? Any issues with an oiled element...
I ran a greddy S on my 5M. Never any issues with leak but I only ran 12psi.
I will be running an HKS off the stock 3000 pipe untill my IC pipes get fabricated. Then I will be using a tial. We'll see how both of them hold up. Tial may be a little slow to react but it will flow more than...

If you stay with the W58 tranny you wont be able to use a R154 clutch.
There are several places avalabe that make performance clutches for the W58 though. At the top of the list is www.rabidchimp.com and www.horsepowerfreaks.com
cheers

Did you put synthetic oil in the engine? Some (all?) synthetics will blow white smoke if you are burning oil. That would be my guess if your water level is not going down. As to where the leak is coming from, that will be the hard part. As was suggested do a compression test before you start...
Just pack grease in behind the pilot bearing. When you get as much as you can in there grab a bolt that is a snug fit in the pilot bearing hole (or use an extra alignment tool) and smack it with a hammer a couple times. The bearing will come out.
