^^ I guess... I just wanted to make sure. By the way this is my first time doing a head gasket repair. Any advice on how to get the damn oil feed line from underneath the turbo off ? Also any other advice would be great... I already tried searching for as much info as I can but any thing else...
Today while fixing my BHG I took off the down pipe and noticed a unusual amount of oil and water coming out of it. I read some where that a blown turbo "something" may be a seal can give the same symptoms as a BHG. Basically I just want to know if it's normal to have oil and water coming out of...
What you described is pretty much what I did. I had the right rear up on a jack stand and I would be able to move the wheel very slightly like toe in toe out. The play is about 1/4 of an inch at most.
I'm using a eBay MBC from Voodoo racing. For what it cost me($15 bucks shipped) I can't complain. It does it's job great and I'm sure theres not much difference to if I had purchased one of the $100 dollar manual boost controllers. Unless your getting a EBC it really doesn't matter what MBC you...
My passenger rear wheel has a slight play or shimmy when I go to torque the lug nuts all the way. Even with all the lug nuts tightened I can still move the wheel slightly. My friend suspected it may be wheel bearings? I'm not quite sure what could be causing it but I'm sure this problem has to...
$15 grand! Hell no! may be if it was a Targa top.
That Supra is in pristine condition though and super low miles... I'd be nervous driving that car... Don't want to scratch the paint!
May be I'm just bias to the Targa because its a Supra thing but T tops just look ugly in my opinion. I don't like that line in the center of the roof even if it does improve rigidity.
I've heard a few good results from people using there stock springs with Bilstein shocks and was wondering if any one had any pictures of how low you can go with stock springs and ride height adjustable Bilsteins. I'm planning on doing this and I don't want the car to be super high but I don't...
How the fuel gauge would rise up after putting in a full tank of gas is about the speed at which my temp gauge started rising(may be a bit faster). On my many stops(because the temp gauge kept maxing out) I would turn the key to the on position, see my temp gauge is still in overheat, crank and...
On my way home waiting at a stop light I see my temp gauge rising and start to panic. Although this happened to me before and nothing went wrong and thought how the wire to the coolant sensor was snapped, may be my temp gauge was just off. I decided to pull over anyway in to a parking lot and...
lol...of course it was sarcasm.
The fact that it's going to be summer soon I decided to run a heavier weight and for it being a synthetic motor oil the price was really good($22). Plus I read on here and supraforums people using this oil and having great results.
Thats what im talkin bout!
