Ive been working with dual fuel setups and staging in a second set of injectors. Its working really well. I have no staging to about 8 psi so I can run on the 525 primarys, then I stage in the 1100 secondarys 100% by 190kpa. I have a piggy back race tank in the car and Im running 92 pump...
Couple things to check. With the sensor unplugged from the harness, hook your voltmeter up to the 2 sensor leads and use it on AC mode. Turn the motor over and youll see it cycle to about 1 volt ac if its working. You can do the same on the cam sensor but youll only get about a half volt ac...
yep, ive posted over there. Your 2 pole switch will work just fine. On my last setup i used the clutch switch for als between shifts. als is hard on turbos, and my current one wasnt cheap, so i dont use als with megasquirt, I use the 2 step with retarded timing to make about 5psi off...
I had spun a bearing and getting the car almost ready to drive again. This time around I added a second fuel rail to run dual fuel with the staged injection feature. Ill run E10 pump gas on 525 injectors and E98 staged through 1100cc injectors. Calculators show itll be close to E70 so it...
Another option is to run a linlock inline with the clutch line, and bypass around it with an 1/8 inch flow control. A lot finer adjustment, about half the money and when used with an aftermarket ecu, you can program an output based on vss, so only first gear gets restricted.
2jz thrust washer are tiny. Id bypass the clutch switch with anything other than a stock PP. I had a big single picked out, and decided in the end, to go triple just for the crank walk issues.
did you get this unstuck? mine was a on a stock flywheel too (not a toyota setup tho). i was told by 2 other clutch makers its the material choice that southbend uses. i glued my full faced kevlar disc. you just built up to much heat by slipping it.
I had a south bend clutch weld out on me. Full faced kevlar and heavy PP. They don't like to slipped and build up to much heat on the launch. I was able to unstick mine by climbing a steep hill in first gear, clurch pressed in and working the throttle from idle to wot. On about the 5the...
The bummer part about aem is there is no auto tune feature. Someone has created a hotkey.exe but I found it not worth the time. So your honestly stuck dialing in the VE table on your own.
you can make global changes to get you of the to rich/lean conditions by going to display, show...
Load the richer tune. Then goto "display", "options full list" then scroll down to "MicroSec/bit" and slowly pull that number down till things come in line and you can get it to a tuner.
Yep! Ring/pinion/ new stronger LSD will be here tomorrow. Should be back together by Saturday. I'll then head to Bremerton and work on my 60 times then work on getting into the 10's.
when you change injector size in the wizard, your really only changing the deadtime for it. i ran the same tune with 1000's, then down to 200's after a failure. All i had to change was the "usec" number under the show all tab. Its a global fueler. so run the 750 setup and take some...
yea, im running a Ford 8.8 rearend. upgraded everything but the factory lsd carrier. I bent the ring gear section enough to have over .100 runout and i bet on that launch it actually bound ring teeth on pinion tips. ill post the video of the launch later.
im still getting the launch...
