im running a 220amp stinger alt with 0g stigner wire, 130amp you could probably go with 4g wire (preferably stinger) and you can either keep the same ground or go to the battery. hope this helps
yeah i just had to change my door lock relay... there may be a bad connection in the relay... while the door is offtake off the relay and take it out of the case and check all the sodder connections make ure there are no breaks
the dimmer dial strikes again! so sweet and innocent until it randomly strikes :evil3:
does anyone ever turn theirs down less than max? i sure as hell dont
a 40lbs battery aint going anywhere no matter what bump i hit lol... maybe eventually ill get around to making a custom bracket to fit it. but like i said its been that way for a year or so and ive had no problems
i see how they look a like... im gonna have to ask about that.
edit: i checked out who oddessy sells to but aamp and stinger arent on the list of dealers.
i think the one that was giving me a hard time was the one close to the exhaust... and i did it on my back with the same 3 foot extension lol. it sucked ass:3d_frown:
who me? its been that way for about a year and i have had no problems with movment. the 0g wire actually holds it in place. the battery is just about the same size as the plate it sits on and with wieght on the plate that doesnt go anywhere either.
i got caught up in some stuff and i tried to get your number from steve but i didnt have anything to write with and i couldnt put it in my phone when i was talking to steve. but believe me i was trying
which plastic covers are you talking about? the ones with the ripples in them or the smooth oens? the smooth ones are actually vacuume hose.
yeah, when we installed it we figured that would be the best way to go... with the extra support that the battery would give it + the chassis ground...
im an installer... its kindda my think:biglaugh:, they also make some of the best batteries it the world... no joke. they have dry cell batteries with no acid or gel so you can actually mount them sideways or upside down without any problems. they also put out the most power per wieght in the...
is there such thing as a good price for a blown motor? lol. just my opinion but i would either buy a working 7m-gte or do an N/A-T conversion like im doing. you save a bit more money for essentially the same result. if you want to look more into it just search for N/A-T conversions on the site.
so you must be an electrical nut like me (hence expert lol)... i do audio installs but i also do mechanical work. i just really like doing electrical work. and for the sheet metal screws eh, its what was put on there oringinally by a head installer when we were doing the project so he knows his...
its from stinger. www.stingerelectronics.com if you want i can give you a direct number and ext to talk to the right person about it. for me it was free becasue im really in with the company, i have a lot of equipment from them, but i believe they run for around $500+/-. 220amps... cant go wrong...
i know its not the best but i couldnt fit the stock one with that big ass alt lol. im gonna try to make a better one for it eventually but it hasnt seemed to mess with the performance or running so far. its been that way for about a year.
I believe you can go to like autozone or advanced to get a new fusible link. As far as 100amps I think that's a little over kill since the stock alt I believe only generates 80 amps or so. you can either go with a universal one or go to the counter and see if they make one just for our car...
