but unlike the IC if your engine was painted you could actually gain from the ceramic paint correct? In one of my college science classes the teach was expalining thermo dynamics if im remembering right and said that because of all the heat that come off our motors we are only getting about 25%...

no at the moment but i would rather have the knowledge now than get down the road and start building my motor and not knowing what im doing. Im just trying to prepare a list of things i might need or might need to do. when i start i definately dont want a bad build.

true unless you use a large amount of sound dentaning material in the vehicle... even then its really up in the air... or if you can find the structural resonance frequency of the car... i know the supra's (at least mine) is around 45Hz to 49Hz
