im pretty sure its not rod knock.. had it on my celica and it sounds way different.... i didnt prime the system.. i did a quick, drain oil, remove filter , apply oil to filter gasket and install new filter, and filled it back up... i let the oil drain for about 5 minutes and after i filled it up...
