interesting, however, if outside air is getting in (lets say its 80 degrees), then the air will instantly be heated because of the crankcase temp. the same volume of air 20 degrees hotter can not escape through a hole that the colder air can enter....... just a thought
have fun, i just got my tranny out tonight! its not easy, just read the tsrm first. there are some real fun bolts on the starter! the engineers must have had a beef with the toyota mechanics, cause there is no way that an engineer would design some of those bolts for no reason! the bolt on...
ok folks, just finished getting the tranny off tonight.... it took a long time. but its off now, and we'll be putting it back on tomorrow..... then its time to finish the exhaust mods to the 3.5" dp and who knows what from there....
i know dual frictions are good on domestic cars, but ive heard from a few places that they aren't quite as good on supras....... how much are you putting to the dual friction?
i have all of my parts and ive taken off the old exhaust and the top of the engine. replaceing the old valve seals took a long time, and there was a COMPLETELY blown one cyl #3 exhaust side. the new turbo and manifold look great just sitting on the motor, i hope they perform as good as they...
i have NO clue, but i live in eastern wa for the summer, and there is some about 20 miles away. however, as liberal as washington is, i expect there to be some e85 fuel stations sprouting soon!
