Yeah tell me about it, thats what I've been doing with tons of little brackets and most things that go back in the engine bay :biglaugh: I gave up on the booster, the thing is not coming apart without damaging it, or using tools I don't have! I still need to look around for some crazy pickup...

Ooh how exciting! While working on it I also had that realization, that I'm quite close to being able to drop that engine in! All the little stuff really does add up though! Can't wait for more PICTURES ;)

I'm shooting for similar goals, heres what I came up with from my research... If you never want to tear it apart again: Forged Pistons: I went with wiseco's, JE's are also very popular (iirc they are the lightest) or if you want to save some money, look for the Probe Forged pistons group buy...

Just build a tube frame and slap the parts you DO want on it, engine, driveline, seats, call it a day :D

Going back to your first post, good reference if you ever need to get a really stuck line / bolt off. Use one of those brake line wrenches if you can get it in the right size, the ones that grab more than just 2 sides, they wrap around about 320 degrees, wrap a layer of low grit sandpaper...
