Using the correct tool is FTW! I just got a bigass 14 mm allen key (as opposed to a small 14 mm key ;) ) Although clever little tricks like this are good when you don't have the right tool around the shop and just gotta get it done!

Or I'll just have a big friend stand on the subframe ;) He better not scratch the paint though! I'm running stock 4x4 springs for now, so plenty of ride-height to torque the a-arm, having a empty engine bay helps too :biglaugh:

Just an idea, use a good boost controller to ensure you actually stay at stock boost? Although the more I think about it, it sounds like there just isn't enough flow out of the wastegate to match the rate that the pressure coming out of the turbine rises, so the boost creeps up... Guess a...

Have you changed your tranny fluid recently? You might want to... May I suggest Redline MT90! I had similar problems, even though I'm a good driver, it doesn't even happen while I'm using the clutch, sounds like what you're describing! Changed the fluid, and it's definitely feeling alot better

So much controversy in this thread :biglaugh: Congrats on the good progress Kyle, just don't get ahead of yourself :) Take it slow, if you ever get frustrated stop working (thats one of the best lessons I've ever learned). Just give yourself time to iron out all the bugs before you drive...

Thanks :) Putting it together is a long arduous process, because every last part / bolt that goes back together, is at least getting a good cleaning, and 80% gets painted as well. The subframe is probably still going to come right back out, and disassembled for new steering rack mount...

Artificial lighting definitely sets it off, but in direct sunlight, when the beams reflect at the right angle you definitely see it glitter :)

Are you sure about them being 1/2"? Doesn't sound right to me... Arp Headstuds, are 12 pt 14mm, I;m 100% sure And I doubt the bolts are suddenly imperical instead of metric, but I haven't installed any bolts
