The best/cheapest thing to do is to just get a 7M motor from over here where you're at already. They were all made in Japan anyways (JDM tyte, yo ), the only difference between them being, some slant eyed dude drove the piss out of the motor and probably BHG'd it. It happens the same...
I recall this as well, the comp cams were reported to sit higher in the 7M head, but we would need proof to back up the claim, but I do know what you are talking about ;).
Not quite true.
You do need backpressure in a turbo car to make it driveable when not boosting, BUT the turbo provides all of the backpressure you'll need. Everything after the turbocharger is free game ;).
So, theoretically speaking, you aren't loosing any of the torque in the twisting section of the extension, and the torque being applied at the top of the extension makes it all the way down to the bottom, regarless of length, without loosing any torque in the twisted section?
Or, if the bolt doesn't move and the extension continues to twist and finally meets the preset torque, it will still "click", giving an inacurrate reading, an I right in thinking this?
I'd hazard a guess and say that the stuttering your motor was doing was from trying to ignite a water/coolant mixture within your combustion chamber. Once it finally evaporated, and thus steam cleaned your piston for you, nearly free of charge, the motor began running more normally.
