yeasterday i drove my car to work even though it has a REAL bad IC leak,when i went to leave work it wouldnot start,i checked all fuses and whatnot....after awhile it finally started,i drove it home went as easy as possible on it.when i cut it off after i got home is started rite up....now this...

stock everything on an 89' turbo. auto tranny. bic ddp,no cat,no muffler.... whats a round about boost that i can run safely on this setup?? im still reading up on this car. how many PSI is the turbo capable of ?

im goin to the track tomorow,and was wonderin how high could i set the boost on my car and still be safe??? all i have is BIC DDP,and strait pipe exhaust after that!! and a HKS filter couldnt find much by searching................:1zhelp:

The only reason i have it going into a 2 3/4" pipe is becouse it was on the car when i got it,just havent changed it yet..shouldnt hinder the performance ,atleast i wouldnt think since it doesnt have a cat or a muffler... would 1/4" make that much of a difference??? only a few days left til...

i was thinking somthing like a high 14 , a guy i met the other nite said he ran a 15.3 with just a exhaust system on stock boost (7psi) but im wonderin do these cars need a muffler for the backpressure?? or should i have more HP with the free flowing exhaust?
