where are you getting your ss return line. im running a mostly metal hard pipe return line, but the two metal tubes are connected by a brittle rubber type piece. i don't know how much longer it will last. i will sleep better at night having a ss return line.
sounds AMAZING! i don't regret getting it one bit. it looks the part and sounds even better. can't go wrong. even though i think import exhaust is still overpriced, this is one of the cheapest exhausts you can get!
duane was telling me that our rear ends are superior to the mkiv's rear end. he also stated that the trd rear end for the mkiv is very similar to ours. so pretty much don't worry about busting the rear end
i would go with the mkiv wheels. with a 225 tire, you will have trouble getting traction is minimal modifications. go with a little wider tire and you'll thank me later
there are a lot of threads about this, first off, DONT try running 16 pounds on your stock turbo. The turbo is efficient to around 13 pounds. The stock intercooler isn't actually all that bad. It cools well, but creates excessive back pressure. there are many upgrades that you need to...
working on getting the clutch out right now. i am 300 miles from my car so I'm having a guy do it! I can't take not driving my car anymore. i hope this gets done soon! im trying to sell some stuff to aid my problems! aaron at driftmotion is being great, and communicative. ive done a lot of...
i might be wrong, but i think aaron runs a gt4082 with a larger .82 turbine ar, and a turbonetics cast manifold. the turbo is a 58mm inducer if im correct, and i think he made 420rwhp on 18lbs. (if you couldn't tell, i was interested in a set-up like this for a long time) ....... creepy!
i have a greddy rs too, and i love it. here it is on a stock ct setup. i had this venting to the atmosphere with no ill effects.

now that i have a big single and its converted to map, it flutters and sounds like a race car! i love...
not necessarily....... look at my 61mm in a 4" housing.......
hmmmmmmmm, i thought i had a more direct shot where it looks smaller, but i can't find it on my computer, but here it is compared to a to4r, also in a 4" houseing (this is a 67mm compressor wheel)
i read this somewhere and i dont' remember where...... but it went something like this.......
"the easiest way to lighten your car is to strip off all the paint to the bare metal and pour salt water all over it!"
haha...... i thought it was clever
