The part on the top of the banjo bolt above the threads is not there. It twisted completely off. Where the holes are at for the water to go through that is where it twisted off at. So the threads from the banjo bolt are still in the head. funny and aggravating at the same time.
Thank you IJ. I will run out and get one of these this evening hopefully I can find one here because they never seem to have the tools I need over here for maintenance. I am all the time having to order stuff from the states when it comes to a special item.
If some of you are kepping up with my build thread you will see that I am currently in the process of rebuild another 7mgte. Well I havent posted any updates on that build since I have been on 12 hour shifts for a few days and really havent felt like getting on the computer when I get back from...
I wouldnt worry about it because you never have no idea how the person prior to you taking ownership of a car thrashed it around. And all that will eventually come into play somewhere. It is just a risk that we take when we buy a car that has a reputation to uphold lol
Could be a vaccum leak! Also when it kicks how much does the motor move I am just wandering because if it is alot you may want to look at your engine mounts to make sure they are still good. Just a thought but alot of the older Supra owners on here will be able to give you a little more insight...
just pull the inspection plate off the front of the transmission and see what it looks like. that would be a good start right there. that also bites that this is happened to you now that you get the idle issue fixed.
But you have to give it mad props right! Just to even get it to work out right and with them not fighting each other is something all itself.......I do agree with you it is an odd setup but just to make it work together is crazy..
As far as the steering issue that is something that I have never came across with mine but then again the roads over here are terrible so you wouldnt be able to tell lol. I do know that sometimes when I give mine gas on a straight away it will be driving fine and then when you let off it I will...
No problem, and that is crazy that it boiled down to loose hardware lol. By the way where you get those titanium pistons from I found the rods in titanium a while back and I think I saved it somewhere got to look but would deffinately like to know where you got the pistons from.
No problem and thanks lol. Thought I would shoot that one to you because it helped me out when I had to recalibrate my TPS and there are a few good guides on there that may help you along the way.
just seen it in the 7m technical section.
I have not found anything on here but I havent really looked but I did find this one for you that is very user friendly because it has alot of pictures lol
