I was probably going to buy some from "carter" here on the forums -- he has a new/unused set for sale in the classifieds for $60 -- but I have no immediate need for them
I haven't been to Sears Point since they changed the name to infineon, but at the time I found it pretty similar to Thunderhill with the elevation changes and the dead-grass look. Personally I like Thunderhill a lot more -- I find Thunderhill's layout flows a bit more continuously from one turn...
Looked to me like you were getting a little bit sloppier each lap that the mustang was pulling away. Your tires and brakes were probably losing grip over the session and it doesn't look like you were compensating enough.
Regardless, overall I think you drove very well. you also did well going...
I haven't updated this website since 2005, but its the most complete list I'm aware of (though I'm sure there have been new intros and discontinuations in the meantime):

I've run HKS hipermax II's -- they are without a doubt the best riding coilovers I've ever been on (in any car). They make the MK3 feel like a new BMW. That said, they are not as performance oriented as most other coilovers, so while still far better than stock (or even most lowering...
You sure? I've always been told that transmissions are almost always lubricated based on the input shaft -- when in neutral that isn't spinning so there is no lubing going on.
There are exceptions of course. Saturn designed most if not all of their transmissions to be lubricated either way in...
bump for part #s...
So for installing an Accusump on an existing remote filter/thermostat-controled oil cooler setup, I need:
24-006 (Accusump 3QT reservoir) $222
24-271 (Accusump 20-25psi electric valve with switch) $186
24-280 (Accusump check valve) $27.60
24-200 (Accusump 4-1/4" mounting...
It shouldn't be terribly expensive. I've seen brand new billet PTE 5557's going for $850: https://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=22499&cat=&page=&js=n
I asked Larry @ SP, but it's Sunday and he didn't know off-hand...
Update: Just bought a set of lightly used Tein RA coilovers. Same spring rates that I had on the silver car (18/10). With those and new bushings, I'll probably be happy with suspension for a while...
I also posted a question in the turbo section, but its awaiting moderator approval. Guess I...
Just curious if anyone has seen my old silver car (in my avatar). I'd be interested in buying it back provided it hasn't been demolished by now...
I sold it to a kid in Vancouver WA who almost immediately went into the military and his parents sold it to "some guy in battleground who was into...
So I've talked to Jack @ Suprasport and Larry @ SP -- both said it should be possible to use the new PTE billet wheels in the MK3 bolt-on turbos. These apparently are quite a big improvement over the old wheels -- not because billet is a magical process, but because they happen to have much...
