Can some one out side the U.S. see if you can get this part, brake ducts

Try these part numbers: 47791-14011 (RH 89-92) 47792-14011 (LH 89-92) That's just for the short rectangular duct. You will need 2 of this bracket: 47794-14010 and 2 of this bracket: 47794-14020 to mount the duct (as well as the bolts which have numbers listed on that page). But that duct...

youre installing new swaybars, and your endlink is already stripped... Not sure why youre trying to save it, but just cut it off (hacksaw, angle grinder, torch, bolt cutter, etc) and order new one(s)

3rd time is the charm... MA71's 87T hardtop restomod

Pictures: right rear/side (missing some trim on 1/4 window) LR/side: Engine bay (turbo almost out -- waiting for a buddy with tiny hands to help with the damn oil lines): Interior (pretty decent, minor separation at the seam on driver's seat, missing passenger lock bezel, ratty steering...

There was at least 1 person on SF who admitted to trading in their mk3 under the clunker program. It was an NA, so hopefully its just that 1 car...

    Steering Wheel Vibration - Why

Tires out of balance is #1 cause (they can go out of balance due to bad alignment, so that could be a contributing factor). Bent wheels is another Warped rotors another worn bushings etc... Take it to a tire/alignment shop and tell them you're getting a vibration through the steering...

    bolton SP turbo's

Very interesting -- I checked a few and it seems your LxWxH ~=hp rating seems to be pretty true. Anyway, if you want to see cores listed by CFM rating, check out Bell's intercooler 3" core page: http://www.bellintercoolers.com/pages/aachart300.html a 24x12x3 IC would be rated 850hp by...

    bolton SP turbo's

I generally go by Precision's crank HP ratings when chosing intercooler core sizes: http://www.precisionturbo.net/Wcb21017455901.htm Your core (24x12x3) would be suitable for 850chp and has roughly 70% more volume than a suitably sized core (14x12x3 would be just right for an upgraded ct26...

    Tire Placement Myths/Stupid People Q&A

I read your post, but wasn't replying to it. But while the vast majority of cars are designed to understeer, there are exceptions (mostly high performance sports cars/exotics -- the 80's 911 sticks out in my mind). either way, the fact remains that you would be loosing control at a lower speed...

    1/4 Mile HP Calculator...Accurate?

The ones based on trap speed are generally reasonably accurate. Just note that many of them give you the answer in crank HP (the one you linked gives both).

    Tire Placement Myths/Stupid People Q&A

Its not an unsafe practice. There is no reason to put the worn tires on the front of a FWD car. Think about it: Not only is the power, steering, and braking all (or mostly) happening up front, but the front tires are also first to hit weathered roads. They'll move a significant amount of...

What recession? (vendor customer service rant)

Over the last two weeks I've put in a number of inquires to various vendors on what I consider decent-sized purchases ($500-$1500 -- orders I would have bent over backwards to take when I was working at HPF). I've been amazed that during this economic downturn, so many of them have flat-out...

oil pan fit NA on turbo?

When in doubt, check the EPC. In this case, it looks like the oil pan has the same part # for NA and turbo: 12101-42030 http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/291410/Parts/12101.aspx I know the turbo has a drain for the oil cooler in the pan, so I'm assuming the NA just has a plug there...
