    Like These Rims?

Ok fine, Rota's are of the same quality as Volk, Advan, Work, etc :3d_frown:

    Like These Rims?

What? First off, Rota, XXR, sport maxx, ect, are NOT Japanese. They are shitty china wheels imported by an American company. They pass absolutely no standards. They are gravity cast, which is the lowest quality, and than they shave off WAY too much material in an attempt to get forum guys...

    Like These Rims?

If you bent a Rota but it still held air, a "quality wheel" would not have bent. There is no denying Rota and other "budget" wheel brands have poor quality, and are not near as strong as high quality wheels. "lightweight" QUALITY wheels are not light just from removing material. They are...

What suspension/brake mods for street/road course?

You may "feel" quicker through the turn, but you do in fact have less grip It doesn't more evenly distribute the load of the car, it actually transmits more load to the already loaded up outside tire. This is how it gives less body roll

What suspension/brake mods for street/road course?

Why does everyone recommend the stiffest sway bars possible? Sway bars decrease available grip, but make the car corner flatter. Flatter does not equal better handling in all cases...especially when considering sway bars.

    ksport or stance?

doing 1 thing properly > doing 2 things half ass if you notice, the people that are not happy with their coilovers are the ones that cheaped out on their coilovers

    ksport or stance?

240 setup is much different than the MKIII setup. They put a lot more R&D into the 240 setup as that is Stance's bread and butter. I would put Stance on a 240 in a second...not on a MKIII though. I do not agree with stance's spring rates AT ALL for the MKIII. However, stance does make a very...

    Wheel Alighnment always off slightly

You don't have to be a drifter to wear tires faster than that. I was speaking purely of spirited street driving (with full grip). And the whole "what works for you thing" is kind of dumb in my opinion. If someone said "I run 9 afr, because it works for me" does that mean he's right and...

    Wheel Alighnment always off slightly

The problem with what "you know to work" is wrong. Just because your Butt Dyno says its nice doesn't mean that it is actually set up correctly. I see TONS of people that think something helps their handling, when in fact it makes it worse. If your getting 75,000+KM from your tires you don't...

    Wheel Alighnment always off slightly

Not sure how your roads are there, but often times the crown in the road can be different if it is a multi-lane highway. Often the left hand lane of a 4 lane highway is tilted towards the center, so the crown of all 4 lanes actually lookes like "^^" Not to mention that the crown in the road is...

    Wheel Alighnment always off slightly

not to start shit with you once again... but where the fuck did you hear that alignment is different for RHD versus LHD?

    Wheel Alighnment always off slightly

I'm curious to know how you figured out one wheel sits further forward by the small amount of 1cm. Furthermore...if one wheel is located further forward, that most likely means that your caster is out of spec which is one of the primary causes of a "pull" in the steering

    Air to Water Intercooler?

So the general agreement is if you want to make power on a street/circuit car use A2A. If you drag race or want the lowest AIT when sitting in traffic run W2A?
  14. T

    Air to Water Intercooler?

W2A is fantastic...when you can continually refill it to keep the water temperatures down. As the car runs the water continues to heats up more and more (up to a point) and your IATs rise with it. I suppose if you want the coolest possible IAT's while idling (pointless) W2A might be the way to...

    Air to Water Intercooler?

But now your limiting your "peak power" by having hotter IAT by running a W2A. I use quotes around peak power, because at the end of the day you are trying to make power. And to lose 20-30 whp because you want your tuning 100% and not 99% through traffic seems illogical. Or are you trying...

    Air to Water Intercooler?

but who cares if your IC is 20* above ambient when sitting in traffic? You trying to extract every bit of power as you move along at 5 mph?

    Air to Water Intercooler?

Because they are in an engine bay that traps the heat and the engine itself is generating a lot of heat. An intercooler is sitting in open air with relatively little heat passing through (unless your building boost)

    Air to Water Intercooler?

Everyone keeps saying A2A has heat soak in stop and go? How the hell is that possible when your not building any boost in stop and go (I suppose there is some heat coming from piping heat soak and the turbo being hot, but comn). Not to mention your comparing apples to oranges by comparing a...
