I'm fairly pleased with my Pacesetter, cost me right at 200 bucks. It sounded really good and was fairly quiet until I put a test pipe on it, now I occasionally set off car alarms. :naughty:
Awesome project! My cousin has a MKI sitting at his house with a BHG, I doubt the rest of the car is in decent enough shape to justify a swap like this though.
Out of the two I'd go for the cansiter, but then again the one sitting on HellsLegion's bed used to sit on my bed until I decided to go for something with a dual tip.
N/A's never came with an option for a spoiler from the factory. If you see an N/A with a spoiler it was either dealer installed or installed by the owner of the car. A spoiler was not a part of the sports package.
If you had a turbo auto with a 4.30 in it then it was not the original diff. N/A cars without the sport package did not have LSD (although I believe it was an option seperately some years). LSD was standard on turbo cars.
I have a Pacesetter exhaust on my car and it is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I would imagine the quality is nowhere near that of Tanabe, however.
I had this happen to me on the passenger side. When I went to tighten the bolts I found that the threads on the inside of the handle had stripped out so I replaced the whole thing.
I got mine from rice central, Nopi. http://www.nopionline.com is the website. I had some coupon for $10 off or something during the month of June, it ended up being like $194 shipped.
I've got that system installed on my car right now and I'm very pleased with it for the price I paid. Quality isn't the best, but for less than $200 shipped and installing it myself I can't really complain. Once I get a day off work and can get my car cleaned up I'm going to get a video of how...
That's what I was gonna say, I think around 200-250 would be a good price for all of it. I wish I had money to spend on something like that, I would definately be interested in it.
Here's a video of an N/A with a Megan GT muffler, 2.5" piping and no cat.

If you like how that sounds I have an unused 2.5" inlet Megan GT muffler sitting in my basement that I'm looking to get rid of.
