    Replacing TEMS shocks w/ KYB's?

just unplug and remove the tems actuators and they will work. if you want to do a better job of it you can remove more things, but it isn't necessary for the new shocks to work. the ride height should stay the same. i would replace the bump stops while i was in there.

    Turn signal/head light switch

When I put an 89 steering wheel on my 88 I swapped to an 89 combo switch. The connectors for the steering wheel are different. You could cut the connectors off and switch them around to make it work but I chose to use the 89 combo switch so I wouldn't have to cut anything. If your car has an...

    Turn signal/head light switch

What year is your car? You are correct the connectors and wiring are different due to different things moving around (cruise control for example.) It is possible to rewire and change things around (Jeff Lange did it) but to make it easy on yourself it would be best to find one that matches...

    Turn signal/head light switch

^yeah that is what I would end up doing. They aren't that bad to swap out, just have to pull the steering wheel off and remove some trim to get to where it plugs in at under the dash. Make sure you get one that is specific to the year of your car (86.5-88, 89+ w/o airbag, 89+ airbag) to avoid...

    Turn signal/head light switch

Yeah the whole combination switch assembly comes off. It is possible to replace just the arm but then you gotta take the thing all apart and risk messing it up. Here's what it looks like removed from the car: http://www.supramania.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=5753&d=1144117845

    Facebook group

I dislike myspace because of the way it is layed out and coded. to me it is completely unorganized and looks like garbage. it annoys me to look at people's profiles. I enjoy the layout and organization of Facebook myself. It is a much better way for me to keep in touch with friends than myspace.

My bet is on valve cover gaskets as well. Maybe a bolt for the valve cover loosened up a bit back there?

Best (Cheap) Upgrade for Stock 91?

Agreed. Make sure the car is in good running order before you start the mods. After that I think the biggest bang for your buck mod when you are first starting out would be a 3" exhaust from the turbo back. Check out this thread for a ton of info on modifying your MK3...
