    Slave Cylinder?

If you got a R154 tranny, then jack up the car, secure it and pull of the driver side inspection plate and check for fluid in the bottom of the bell housing. The seals may have gone bad, Slave cylinders from advance is only $45.

    6M Crank

I'm glad someone posted about this, I'm the third owner of a 88 mkIII and I know the last owner had a junkyard motor put in, I kinda freaked out when I saw 6m on the crank while reassembling the mains, and rod bearings. And now I can sleep better at night knowing this thread clears it all up...

    charging problem

Hey Man, I'm going to assume you've run the Optima and this problem just came up. With this said, Get a battery charger and charge the Optima battery FIRST! No need in killing the battery leaving it discharged. Then when you toss it in and crank it up, be sure to have a volt meter or DVOM...

To port match myself, or let someone else have the PITA.

Okay here is the deal. Picking up motor tomarrow, and I screwed around and didn't do research. I've done this on my current car (the geo) and it seemed to work fine. But should I even try to port match the intake, or even open it up? Well... I've already done the throttle body to the...

Hey, I'm Stephen from Spartanburg, SC. Just taking a year off from college, and I found the right guy and found my Red MKIII for FREE! I am fortunate, because I don't have much money at all. But I'm shooting for at least 350 at the wheels which should be simple from what I hear. Alright...
