didnt have time to read thru the whole thread. anyone ever try to fit any 305's on the rear of a mkiii? what modifications had to be done? also 295/30/18 is really close to stock in overall diameter right? i forget what stock size is.

what duration did you get? did you upgrade the valvetrain, and are you running higher than stock redline? and how long have you had them?

I was wondering if anyone has used these camshafts yet and what you thought of them. also what would be the disadvantages with using the regrinds over the other camshafts that they sell, meaning the longer duration camshafts that are cut that way in the first place?

found an old post with a link to rc for calculations, i figure with a 60-1 at about 25psi, with meth/water injection i am going to be running right around 500 hp which is about 90-100% duty cycle for the 550's so i am going to go with the 650's to be safe...

I am planning on going with the driftmotion 60-1 turbo kit, 3in turbo back exhaust, hard pipes, fmic, ffim, maft pro, and meth/water injection. I am just wondering if going with the 550cc might be undershooting, or going with the 650cc might be overshooting? thanks.

are you sure this is an 86.5, they didnt have the targa option till 87? it would be a lot of work to make it a targa, there are a lot of structural pieces that would need to be added.

No I haven't, I have just been looking around.........planning. It just seems like they are reasonably priced and it looks like they do pretty good work.

sounds like i am running about the same setup as what you are planning on running, i have a clutchmasters stage 2 with the stock flywheel(w58), it holds fine and there is no chatter whatsoever. not sure what its rated or price.

i would say the silver with blue flake, i have always liked the bluish looking silver on cars.

thats where your crankcase vent hose hooks up to the block, i think there should be something a fitting or pipe that fits in the hole, i dont remember exactly its been a little while. then your hose runs up the the pipe sticking off of the valve cover next to the alernator.

not to start anything, but are you saying the 1jz spins tires more than a 7mgte? from my experience the 7m has a $#!^ load more torque and I spins my tires at 60-70 in 3rd gear, if I do it right, getting on the interstate in dry pavement? try having a 4.556(a rare ratio in the 86.5) and a turbo...

that really sucks, i just think it would be a lot more practical if it was actual plastic, i was thinking about painting it with a silver plastic paint and i really dont wanna take my chances painting rubber, oh well!

the top IDK is for the fuel pump resistor, IDK about the other one.....

I would look in the TSRM http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=IN&P=1 at the wiring diagrams for each year and basically soldier/ connect wires to do the swap, I think the intercooler piping should work. I did a swap on an 86.5 and didnt have too many issues, i did have...
