    My Supra and WRX

I split the harness back to the firewall so nothing runs over the valve covers, I regrouped the wires and ran them along the fender and under the intake. I like it alot better this way. I think that I am going to try and hide all the wiring on my next build. The catch can hoses are ran under...

    My Supra and WRX

Thanks all. The supra is much faster, but that is because of the level of mods and boost (23psi). The WRX has the best handling by far, slight understeer unless you stay on it in a corner. I can beat a mkIII with the wrx in almost all mountian driving or on a straight as long as the supra runs...

    help with profec E-01

If your boost is 0-0.2 with the controler off then your problem is the wastgate. You don't have enough spring pressure to hold it shut. Try this, Take the boost control solinoid off the vacume line and reconnect it stock. try boosting, If you stil have zero boost then you need to adjust your...

    help with profec E-01

What is your boost with the controller set to the off position? Take and set it to hi manual, then set your gain to 0, set your start boost to two psi under your target boost, set your % to about 50% and see where it boosts to. Remember that the greater the % the greater the boost.

    My Supra and WRX

I have a 88 supra and a 03 wrx, I just rebuilt the wrx motor over the last couple weeks, so it only has 85 miles on it, I have many mods on it, intake, exaust, boost controler, injectors, turbo timer, COBB tuning, and many STi parts. The Supra has to many mods to list, you have to look at my mod...

    Problems with AFM connections

Take the plug off the afm and you can see the pins inside the plug, you can take a small precision screwdriver and push the small tang down so the pin comes out with the rubber seal, you can then take and strip the wire and put a new pin on with the old seal and reinstall it. You can get the...

    A different clean up thread

I tried doing this but I ran into several problems that made it difficult, First, there is not enough room to mount the box under the fender the nearest place to mount it with enough room is toward the front bumper but then you would have to extend every wire in the box. Second If you do mount...

Some of the companies that make parts for MKIII and Suprasport.

First off, I'm not racist, far from it. Second I thought it was funny, Tacky but funny. If you are jewish and take offence I apolojize that wasn't my intention so I willl take it down and try to keep on topic.

Some of the companies that make parts for MKIII and Suprasport.

I bought a turbo from them almost two years ago, when I first installed it I couldn't build boost either, I figured out that the actuator arm needed to be adjusted tighter. A turbo with no seals and a leak would still build boost just later in the rpm band as long as the compressor wheel spins...

Some of the companies that make parts for MKIII and Suprasport.

I have had great experiance with greg and charles from suprasport, great guys. I think that there is something to be said about being penny wise and pound foolish here. Alot of MKIII owners myself included have tried to take the cheap route and ended up paying alot more for it in the long run. I...

Trying to Solve Fuel cut - at wits end - this one will stump you

I went standalone.:naughty: I ended up throwing 2grand at the problem. No boost cut now though, and is better then ever. My only other thought is that you have so many mods that your ecu can't handle it in its stock form so it fights back with boost cut trying to save your engine. You are...

Trying to Solve Fuel cut - at wits end - this one will stump you

Another thought, put the origional stock AFM back on and make a pull with that and see if it acts the same, my guess is that it will. Also If it isn't these things I would check your O2 sensor, at that rich it should be pulling Hz back out to counter the AFM signal somewhat. Also, fuel cut...

Trying to Solve Fuel cut - at wits end - this one will stump you

Couple thoughts, You are still running stock ECU with no controlers right, I would think about other things that effect your Hz, like your HAC that could increase Hz that your ECU sees, I have seen those give bad signals. You are running 11-12psi without boost cut, your boost cut hits at...

so im going to look at a mk3 turbo on wednesday...

Looks like there has been some front end damage, (accident) also the upper grill is missing and the other body panals are in rough shape as well. I wouldn't pay 4000+ for this. Not to mention taxes and charges because it is a dealer. If you even think of buying this get a carfax first.

    Ebay Fuel Pressure Regulator

I had one and had fuel pressure problems, not enough pressure at boost, hard to adjust, pulsation in the fuel line and then the diaphram burst and sprayed fuel all over the intake manifold. I would say at best they are a chrome piece for a show car that would never get started and at worst a...

    7M Horsepower record?

I have done all my pulls on a dynojet as well, and I have never seen a correction that large before. I guess it is all about location with different atmospheric conditions that act on the calculations.
