Yep, it's just a square, green, four pin connector almost exactly like what connects to your CPS, even has the clip like the CPS connector that holds it onto the CPS. Good luck with rewiring, hopefully everything goes well for you. Sounds like that harness was pretty hacked up.

Pretty sure it is where it bolts up to the hood. I think one has a ball and socket and the other is different. Not sure on this though, maybe someone else can help you out with the differences.

Definately medium grey. The 52mm will fit but I think they are slightly smaller than your gauge holes, you could go with the 60mm but they will overlap the outside of the whole a bit. Either way you are going to get into some custom work to make them fit correctly and look right. Ultimately...

what year is this from, I just went out to my 86.5 and I dont have any red wires by the 1A connector in the kick panel. Sorry hope someone can help you figure this out, pictures help a lot by the way.......
