My rear speed sensor is broken and is causing my braking system to act horrably until it automatically shuts off the ABS. Insted of fixing the expensive speed sensor or driving around with bad brakes until ABS shuts off, I just want to disable ABS as a whole.

Is there a way how I can check it myself? After I had put the timing belt back on I had taken the car to a mechanic. He said everything was ok except for my alternator belt which was loose so we fixed it. Should I take it somewhere else or learn how to do it myself?

I had bought the car a year ago after it had been sitting for 5 years. I think it can handle waiting again. I'm not selling it (unless someone wants it for $5k). One more question, where should I get a cover for the supra? Do universal car covers from Strauss or NAPA fit?

Ok so far.... gas stabilizer, get it started 1ce in a while by my dad, and a car cover... I'm taking the car off insurance (which means I will not be able to drive it in NJ). Since I won't be able to drive it for 4 years, should I put it on blocks?

haha when did this happen? I had something similar happen to me about 3 weeks ago.... Story: My friend and have been goin to a large school parking lot at night every time it rained and would drift around for a little bit. The last time we did it, I was riding shotgun in his car and the cops...

I know they make the single rear window visors for the MKIII, but do they make a multiple rear window visor like the ones comaros, transams, some porches, and firebirds have? I couldn't find a better picture... EDIT: found out what they're called.... Louvers... petter pic:

Car = alive and in great running condition now. The problem was simply adjusting the timing belt and also the alternator belt was a little lose. Ty for all your help everyone; I learned alot. EDIT: and saved myself 2 grand too
