nice info. from the reaserch i have done xylene requires adding lubricant (such as MMM or gear oil) now toulene does not as it has lubricating ability. anyone can confirm / deny this

it should strech out. put some lube try again. if it does not work you need new accordian hose (~$35 from champion toyota) as old hoses tend to loose their softness
