U need a 10mm 14mm 17mm and 14mm 12point socket. Pretty straight forward.. just to warn you most of the factory bolts inside are torq to yeild. Not reuseable. Replace them with arp. The mains rods and covert the head to studs. Their is no real special tools but a puller for the crank pully and...
Why do you need to replace the pistons.. it like 150 dolars here to have it honed and rings are cheap . If your rebuilding the stock 2j block I bet the machine work will run you less than 300. And tha arp bolt for mains and rods abd studs for the head is less than 500 total. Either use stock...
I am looking into new injectors for my 1j and came across these. Was wondering if anyone has any exp with them good or bad let me know.
Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=261156448676
So your question is if anyone sell a 1jz set up ?. Or a 1jz flywheel? 7m flywheelwill not fit a 1jz. But the clutch will.
And their are company's that sell 1jz flywheels. I know that comp clutch sells a full kit stage 4. But I don't know about spec for the flywheel. A twin set up should come...
Googgle it up. I came up with cp part number sc7472. And that will get get 86.5mm9:1. Its the same as 10:1 part number for the 2j. That's tahken off cp web site
I belive so just have to get the right compression. The pistions I ordered about make 10 to1 iirc on a 2j. And 9:1 on a 1j due to the stroke differance
bought my pistons today got a screaming deal on them from titan motor sports off of ebay for 690$.
now i go tto spend the day googling how much torq the stock rods can hold:0 it never ends lol
So I dug up this old ass thread.. and I am about to order pistons. And just want to be clear
2j gte pistons can be run in a 1j stock rod. Correct?
And same goes for if I want to order a cp 2j piston in a 9:1 ratio. I just want to be clear that when I call cp pistons to get my 2j pistons...
If it was me I would get a sfac of some type. And bigger injectors.. maybe 440s or 550s. . That will give you room to make power.. but you better start saving for a clutch
fuel pressure reg has to have a boost\vac. Line to raise and lower fuel pressure under boost so it has to go to intake. And the plugs look like stock hydro fan plugs not needed. If its running a clutch fan or electric fan. The looped water lines is real common on the housing when deleting the...
It looks like every other china header on the market.. I really think its all the same header sold bye 52 different companies.
And yes you can't beat the quality vs cost.. but if it were me I would buy it. Ck to makes sure the gaskest will acutally seal around the ports correctly we seen problem...
