check the temperature sensor. make sure that it is plugged in. this is a pic of a turbo t-stat housing. just minor changes. sensor is in the same place though. good luck
i see potenial. i like it. not in the best shape for being 20 years old but certainly not in the worst too. if i where you, i'd do what cre said first. check your codes. just calm down buddy. i understand so much info at the same time can be really overwelming. like most people have been saying...

hey he asked for what has to be done to do a rhd swap. not for everyones input on if he should do it or not. so if he wants to do it, let him do it. i'm sure all of us have done something to one of our cars that seem stupid to another. so if he has the money, the man power, and the patience to...
from what i hear it really isn;t. its just that instead of shifting away from you like you would on a lhd, you are bringing it closer to you. i heard you get faster shifts maybe?????
Febuary my junior year in high school. so 17. cleanest mkiii 86.5 i have ever seen. found out later that it is like one of the first 500 or something made. no dents (still no dents), had white sawblades, 176000 miles. engine rebuilt, and minor minor tears on the leather driver seat, none on...
that undercover actually helps with the cooling of the engine. (i wish i had one.) http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75209&highlight=undercover this thread is about possibly making one. i found this pretty useful. i hope it is to you as well. and as far as i know...
my friend DillonSuper has converted his 88 into a rhd. he's thinking about doing it again to another one of his supras. PM him and see what he has to say.
i think i might be one of the very few to have good luck with a jdm engine. i through a rod in my 7mge and i got a jdm 7mge from a canaidian company that imports japan engines. i've just had to change minor stuff due to the 7m i got was from a cressida. so oil pump, pan, but i was able to...
welcome. there are some colorado guys up in here. alot of us have had our share of supra problems so this place will get you through your build. good luck. -josh from pueblo colorado
buy an ohmmeter from harbor freit or someplace. get the aligator clips that go withit. You also need a feeder gauge at like .58mm. refer to the tsrm.

but wedge the feeder gauge into behind the tb by the stop screw...
ok. cause i was looking at this one and it had several bolts around the edge on the back plate thing on the head. rather than the one i saw on my old engine was one big one that required an allen wrench.
ok, so i have a freind who is going through a 1j swap and is practically giving me his old 7m. i want the head, just do to the case that when/if my head gasket does go, i have a spare head to swap in right away and don;t have to wait for resurfacing... ect. the onlt bad thing is, is that is a...
well my car has 200000 miles on it and it still has 4x4 height. i'm waiting for mine to sag. and whats wrong with eibachs? i heard ei's and tonkico illum's (adjustibles) and good for the comfort of a dd?
yeah i'm thinking of either putting in longer studs or 10mm getting h&r drs spacers. i would like to get longer studs cause it a bit cheaper just for that, but i want to stay away from the bearing. it too expensive for me right now.
+1!!!! i hear ya. i have the same exhaust as you. 2.5 inch straight through to a borla proxs. but i have no tip at all. i did my exhaust before i knew about the forums. 2 years ago. and surprisingly, i live in colorado too! have you ever taken yours into the eisenhower tunnel in i-70? i have...
i had those and after a while with stock suspension, it got old and started to look worse each day. so thats why i went to 225 45 17s. it looks alot better. i was gonna go with 18's but the wheels didn't have that size. and i even know a guy on sf that has 19's. but they is why i went with 17's...
how would you do that? cause i really liked the way it looked with just out 8mm more. and i'm not sure the spacers that have studs already, that bolt onto the existing studs on the car go that narrow.
they are 17's with 40 series tires. its just that i have a bigger height in the front. i...
