i would like to know what the ratio is for the rear end gears in my 1991 cresta 1jz model.
i heard somewhere that it is aroun 3.5:1ish?

i have an aftermarket clutch/pp/flywheel in my 7m
i just bought a cresta and it has a blown 2nd gear. im taking the 7m r154 and swapping it over to the cresta 1jz.
now i know that i can use the tranny i just need the belhousing from teh 1jz...
i will make a proper build thread sooner or later. just trying to gather all of the little pieces so that once the car goes down im not waiting on parts and paying for pointless shop time.

ok i did a search and the topic is a little cloudy.
the car is a 1987 JDM mk3 turbo. engine is a JDM 2jz with getragv160 tranny
im gathering parts for when my car goes down for the winter

okay firstly my car isnt understanding boost it seems like. the turbo spools and creates boost and the bov is working properly, but as soon as the turbo starts to spool up you can feel the car lag.
the ecu car is giving me 24, 51, and 52 codes in diagnostic mode
51 is a knock sensor issue...
what are the dimensions for the bolts? thread size/ style. i need to know beacause i need to mount my spare block up on the engine stand to get to work on it !

i still dont know how to set these pumps up in my fuel cell or what to use as an insulator. does someone make a product specifically for this application?
