    hey man, i've got that tach issue also. how do you hardwire the tach? b/c i got the tach from the clip and wired everything up correctly but the only thing that doesn't work out of the swap is the tach and its starting to really bug me

    i also have a 89 na and i just finished my 1jz swap on thursday, i seemed to be pretty straight forward just as long as you get the body plug diagrams from www.1jz-gte.us

    Help with tach?

    at least your tach work man. i been trying to figure out how to fix mine. i tried tapping the #1 pin from the small ignitor plug and tried to tap the black wire from the ig1 body plug connector and still wouldn't work. is there any other tach pin beside the black wire from the ig1 connector?
