the concern is the manufactures intended use. if it was made to be used with a carbuerator then it might not be able to handle the pressures that EFI fuel systems generate, which can be upwards of 70+ PSI.

using an AFPR and an AFM adjustment screw you can get a nice idle out of the lex/550 combo.
