They make heat shields, check Summit they have them,. They also make thinner material that is self sticking.
Usually wrapping headers will cause them to rust if they are not coated. I've had my Pacesetter headers about 10 years now not wrapped or coated.
Not sure of the color, haven't had a stock one for a while. The plug for the wire is along the strut tower if I remember right. Maybe somebody can chime in and check their stock one.
Sometimes they have to be cut to hook up a generic O-2, wire should be on the header side running from the wire harness that runs to the distributor area.
Tuning is pretty much done, easier than what I thought it was going to be, runs great very happy with the results.
Have to fix a few minor things when I get time and check it on the dyno.
Thanks Matt, Yes still have the ACIS, can feel it at 4k, didn't feel it before I think I will be able to "smooth" it out once tuning is complete, if not has to be the increase in air no biggie.
So far with preliminary tuning I've had to add 25% - 30% more fuel, more than what I had expected, guess that's a good thing:)
Throttle response is very quick, no wot driving yet, my laptop crashed so have to wait for my son to come back to resume tuning.
BTW anybody that is thinking...
