    yeah that is really neat. would be very helpful in tuning, racing in the off season, trying new setups, and fun! however, you can never replace that feel of acceleration!

    recheck the vac lines to and from the solenoid. also, you might want to check the actuator on the turbo. it could be weak, bent rod, etc. another thing to check is the turbine housing. the area around the wg flapper often get cracks and causes irregular boost response.

    that's odd. the 12x1.25 is actually a carb fitting which is why it is -6. -4 isnt used for fuel generally. can you take a pic of the fitting? is it an earl's fitting, aluminum fitting, or steel fitting?

    i have never heard of anyone blowing out a freeze plug. but yeah, the best advice i can tell you is just practice launch techniques. try to drive the clutch as if you were sitting on a hill. its all about that 60', whether its 1/8mi or 1/4mi.
