you cannot interchange the mounts. the crossmember is different on the 87-88 and 89+
there may be some way to modify to make it fit, but the early square ones are a little more beefy and less prone to tearing anyway.

willamb2 is in the process of making adapters. not sure if he has any for sale yet or not.
crank and no start the first thing i would look at is the cps. jiggle around the wires and try again.
next, id pull off the oil filler cap and make sure the cams are spinning. could be a broken timing belt.
jumper B+ and Fp in the diag box and see if you have fuel flow.
check for any codes...
i may be able to get one for you. there is a guy in va that has them waterjet cut and are really nice. it might be a bit tho, how big of a hurry are you in?
hmm ok. the ones i get are aftermarket and just have the tps and plate for the egr. i never pretended to be a ford guy. i know nothin about the foreign cars :icon_razz
ok i gotcha. mine didnt have anything like that on there.
one is referenced in the ic pipe, which may or may not be post ic whereas the other is directly off the turbo.
the only difference would be if you referenced it in the ic pipe after the ic. there will be a pressure differential (how much depends on the boost and effeciency) if you do it that...

yes if you have a $2k tranny in it that will make it worth more. but at the same time i can go get a th350 tomorrow for $100 too.
there was an underground shop in japan back in the late 80's and early 90's that did some custom work on ct turbos. i think their name was dark moon or something like that. they did some sort of "secret" work to these turbos and would put a plate on them to designate them as theirs. there...
