paper clip? Im not quite sure that I understand how you are using the paper clip.
I got a jumper wire to set the timing with and the light works great when clipped over the jumper wire post-coil. Before the coil it doesnt work at all.
I think the next thing I will try is pulling the coil and installing a jumper wire. I tried out the timing light on my tercel and it works just fine. Maybe the signal after the coil will be strong enough.
So I got the ignitor wired in today. That took awhile but it is done now. The inductive pickup on my timing light will not recognize the signal going into the coil. Im wondering if anybody has had similar experiences with their timing light?
I know that it is firing because when I take out...
Just my opinion but I think that a 2jz NA-T swap is a much more cost-effective route. More people are starting to agree with me.
If you look at the first page of my build thread I have posted some links as to why I think so. I dont want to wreck your thread with 7m vs 2j stuff but if you...
Peel and Seal. Same shit as dynamat, a bit a small bit thinner but MUCH MUCH cheaper.
It is also known in the lower-income circles as mobile home roofing repair. :biggrinki You can purchase it from a roofing distributor.
looks like a brown recluse or hobo spider bite. Medical care is important - this could be much more serious than you think. You should go to a clinic although I dont know if they can do anything about it.....
You should clean out your room really good too...
or you could not be too chincy and purchase a gravity feed spray gun from harbor freight and some real automotive paint at a paint store. The whole setup would probably cost around 100 bucks and work better, look better and last longer.
Using a rattle can is not a good idea. The paint will not last. There is a difference between automotive paint and Krylon and there is a reason why one is more expensive than the other.
You could also be having some other problems. Ensure that the entire length of wire from the alternator to the #2 block is in good condition and not corroded or broken. Ensure your ground wire is not corroded or broken and that the chassis is well connected to the block with a decent sized...
I heard "ferrule" and "ss braided hose" in the same sentence. I dont think the two should go together..... I think you are using a fitting intended for a hardline on a braided ss hose.
Check out http://www.anplumbing.com/installation.html and...
the 89661-30560 is the toyota part number. I think the other number is the serial number. Whenever I want to know what the part number goes to I use the OEM search at www.toyotapartscheap.com
Maybe - but electrical problems are usually one of those things you have to look at - there can be a lot of variables. Just pull that #2 box cover off and look at the link. Test it with a multimeter.
The C2DI still will not accept the signal direct from the AEM. I ordered an ignitor today to stick between the AEM and C2DI. I dont know why this is such an issue although it says on the EMS data sheed that an ignitor is requried. There really isnt anything anywhere that says "YOU CANNOT WIRE A...
