its not a bad idea to just replace the fuel pump.
and do not boost on it until you fix the problem.
these pumps in my experience dont last much longer than 10 years.
in my 86.5 with a GTE i blew a head gasket due to a failing fuel pump.
in my 91 1jz i have not detonated, but the car...
also whats your vin number start with?
note, not any number stamped on the body anywhere, the VIN number on your printed registration.
it should say MA71 if you are a turbo model.

but the good news is that you *SHOULDNT* need any machine work. if you have the skills to remove the head you should be able to fix your leak.

as of now my ebrake dosnt work. if i have to park on a steep hill, i will turn the wheel so it is right on the curb. the car will stay in place like that without anything else.
even with a functioning ebrake, you should park like this when on a hill whenever possible. you never know what can...
