the 1jz filter is the same as the 2jz oil filter.
wix, mobil1 and toyota oil filters are good. there is a whole thread on the subject, search for more info.
also you might want to look at this, its pretty interesting: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/parts/toyota_filter/trd_filters/index.html
personally id say seeing any water condensate is bad but i dont want to be an alarmist. i have been told its normal to see it from time to time and i can see why that is true.
the only time i have any had any kind of water in my PCV lines was when i blew my head gasket.
so as usual, YMMV.
how MUCH water you are seeing is a concern.
if its just a SLIGHT amount of condensation, its probably fine. but if you start seeing the classic oil milkshake in your PCV lines or under the oil cap then you are in for some trouble.
mkiv twin turbo denso pumps are one of the best intank pumps you can get.
IMO dont even waste a dollar on the walbro.
if youre friends with anyone with a shop they should be able to get you a denso pump for 230.
oh boy...
hooking up an AF guage that uses the stock o2 sensor is not going to tell you anything.
you need a wide band oxygen sensor to accomplish your goal.
FOLLOW THE TSRM.
if you follow it exactly, your oil pan wont leak.
this includes checking the oil pan sealing surface for flatness.
be sure to follow the proper torque sequence and it wont leak.
