    thanks for the comments guys - There are a couple of things on the car that I am not quite satisfied with (like the throttle cable) but they are functional and dependable. Im looking forward to continuing to improve certain aspects once I get the car up and running.

    Uhm I disagree. Just make sure all of your bolts are tight. Some of them very well could have backed off and not have any prevailing torque at all.

    Sucks man - Just as a band aid I would make sure that your head bolts have a prevailing torque. Ive seen a few 7ms that have no torque at all on a few of the head bolts. Wouldnt take long to pop off the cam covers.

    I would send you a map but it is just a window with one parameter that defines startup ignition. Regardless of temp, start ign is always set the same on mine. I have the crank fuel modified to increase with temp differences.
