thanks tissimo - yeah I understand how the boost comp works but I didnt know what you meant by throttle mod. Now I see what you were saying. One other question. My RAW fuel value at idle is about 65, and the RAW value for my engine start is at 100. I have attempted moving it up and down but...

I looked close but it still appears to me that the routing goes BOV->hose->metal pipe->hose->port on throttle body.

AEM Cal File for my 2JZ-GE NA-T Swap GT4294

So do you adjust the Boost Fuel Correct Table to 0% correction below 100 kpa and then adjust it cell by cell or are you still leaving the BFCT to correct fuel to -100% at 0kpa? And what are you referring to with the throttle mod?

Perhaps you could explain to us all why that is?

It looks like your vacuum line goes to a port on your throttle body. That will not work as a vacuum source. You need to T it off of a manifold port.

Wiring the 2jz into the ma70 chassis

Here is a tip for anyone integrating a 2jz wiring loom into the MKIII chassis: In combination with the site already posted, print out a copy of both the TCCS wiring diagram from cygnusx1.net and the downloadable version of the 95 Supra PDF manual. By comparing the inputs/outputs of both you...

With new thrust washers mine walked. I will never roll the dice on a 3200 pound pressure plate again. Thats why I spent the coin and got the triple plate.

    Towing the Supra

I didnt want to start a new thread for this so I thought I would share my experiences. I towed my supra about 500 miles with a tow dolly behind my 89 V6 3.0 Toyota Pickup. The front of the car was on the dolly and I went over several mountain passes ranging from 7000 feet to 4000 feet...

    temp problem

I didnt see that you had checked the wire that connects to the coolant temp sensor on your thermostat housing. If you are lucky it is just loose and grounding out on occasion and causing the indication to go full hot.

I also dont have a ISC valve installed yet. I have the throttle plate adjusted so that it idles at about 12-1500 once it is warmed up. Im wondering if the fact that I dont have an ISC valve has anything to do with it. It also likes to backfire which is VERY LOUD with my full 4" stainless. It...

I cant see your pictures due to a firewall but make sure that your vacuum line is running to the manifold. If you dont have a good vacuum source it wont work right.

I've started a Stinger thread in the Stand Alone

The fuel map is going to remain essentially unchanged regardless of HP level. Since HP level is determined by the amount of boost that you run then I guess you want to know if you can adjust the boost on the fly with a standalone? The AEM has the TruBoost gauge that you can adjust your boost...

The Build of p5150 - 2JZGE-T, GT4294, Paint, and more stuff

I havent posted in awhile - been caught up in the snow! We had a record year for snowfall; last week we had another 4" storm and even a few drifts! I purchased a dolly and took the car out to a deserted road to make a few passes on a base wastegate setting in order to get my boost comp map...
