    Is this a good deal?

isn't fiberglass ideal if you want to paint it?

    Boost creep continued..

I think you're right Bishop, this shouldn't be an issue. I heard that there was a general rule of thumb with actuators and boost control.. you should never run double your wastegate spring PSI? Is this just for saftey, or will it seriously give you trouble?

    Boost creep continued..

haha thanks, I've been following you're threads too. I've got a month to work on it before my 1 year warranty runs out at SP, at that point if i havn't fixed the problem I'm gonna try the lower Psi actuator.

    Boost creep continued..

It has 4 settings. 18 Psi was just as much as i let it creep at that time. lol. thats the peak display feature. Unfortunately with an EBC or any BC you can't lower the boost beyond what the wastegate spring will allow. I really need to stop procastinating and solve this problem.. I went to the...

    Boost creep continued..

Mine seems straight forward.. as was the install. Its the Blitz SBC-ID III. I like it.. nice warning features.. good boost gauge. Easy to use from what little bit I've used it.

    Boost creep continued..

I honestly still feel like the actuator could be causing the problem.. SP tested my old actuator and told me it was reading inconsistantly. I installed it without testing it, still had problems and it tests just as erratically as my "last" actuator. I was thinking the same thing about the...

    Boost creep continued..

well I didn't get to work on the supra tonight, girlfriend time. Suprahero, I have a few questions for you. What turbo is it? Internal or externally gated? What PSI actuator/spring?

    Boost creep continued..

first of all, thanks for posting.. as clearly as I can remember I had the creep even with no boost controller.. and with my MBC. I'll surely check again because a lot of the simple things are commonly overlooked. Bishop, I'll try running open downpipe, I'm desperate and its definately a good...

    Boost creep continued..

I don't know if I should contact SP and ask for a different actuator.. maybe w/ a 7psi spring.. or does it sound like its not the actuator and that solution would be a still-creeping-band-aid?? Any help with this topic would be MUCH appreciated.

    Boost creep continued..

I'm running a maxx autoworks FMIC w/ 2.5" hardpipes. I have a 3" exhaust, gutted cat, and cooleze 3" downpipe (widemouth type). I'm running an EBC with no gain or any settings.. duty is set to "off". I used an air compressor and a gauge to test for boost leaks.

    Boost creep continued..

I made a post a few months ago about my problems with boost creep. It's been a huge struggle for me. My boost quickly rises to 15 psi, and then slowly continues to rise. This is on a SP61GT. So far, I've.. -tested the actuator.. its somewhat finiky. I sent it back to SP and they sent me a...

me and my buddies new toy

yea, those are hott.. to bad we dont have those in the US. The Spec C arn't bad either. As far as USDM I like some bug eyes.. but the 04-05' are my favorites. The new ones look like they have a gorilla nose or something. The new WRX's are much better off with the extra .5 liter than the bug...
