Coils are in good shape, picked them up from Tubbie after finding cracks on the bottom of both sets I had. Also have a good coil harness on there (old one had some frayed wires).

Put some fresh plugs in and did the wire separators. Was stoked at first, all the way to the rev limiter without breakup! Then as the car got hotter it started to break up some, definitely not as bad as before. Tested my coils, ~1ohm across the terminals on the ones on the car and the other 2...
So I'm still jacking around with base fuel pressure, been researching all afternoon and mine's gotta be too high, which may be causing some of the breakup. It looks like most people with Lex/550s are running 30-35psi with the vac line off, so with 680s and the Lex with E85 (30% more fuel...
Yea, that much power should do pretty well in a 1600lb crapbox :) We just picked up a new team member who can TIG weld so we should have some pretty sweet trans mounts made up as well as other cool stuff at the beginning of the year when we start workin again :D

Leaning towards IS300 coils now, can get 'em used for ~$120 and then just a lil wiring and figuring out how...

Swaybars are Tanabe, bought them as a package from Jon (mobes) with the nightpager brake kit including installation :biglaugh: Think they run about $165 each normally
IS coils would be nice but I've spent enough on the car in the past few months:aigo: No good import junkyards around me either...
I'll try new wires and the separators and see what happens, really wanting to boost more than 12psi to see if I can get it to spin through 3rd :evil2:
Ahh, yea, the way they're run they do kind of sit on top of each other, didn't realize that would cause issues. Might have to dig some of those up, don't think I've got any laying around...
So I have a 2jzge NA-T but I'm running it on the 7MGTE ECU (hence posting in this section) so troubleshooting ignition should be the same. I'm running 12psi with a T70 right now and am having issues with ignition breakup from 5500rpms up.
I regapped the plugs to .022 and it helped some but...
